How to make a Halloween ghost gathering is the easy part, making it come to life Halloween night is the fun part. This gathering of ghosts is a great yard decoration both you and your family as well as neighbors. It can be made as a stand-alone yard decoration or you can create a complete cemetery scene. Either way, all will enjoy it.
The first thing you will need is to take a trip to your local hardware store and pick up 7 or 8 poles or stakes that are at least 6 to 8 feet in length. You will need some white twine or light rope and a large bundle of corn stalks. You will also need 7 or 8 large white pieces of cloth at least the size of a twin top bed sheets and 7 or 8 medium to large Styrofoam balls, 2 or 3 sheets of black felt and some Elmer’s glue.
Pick a place that you would like to display the gathering of ghosts and place the large bundle of corn stalks in the center (the ghosts will be holding hands and surrounding the stalk.) Next choose the height of your ghosts and cut you poles or stakes to your desired height. Some people like the ghosts to be all the same height (tall) so that when they are in the circle the ghosts appear to be floating in a circle. Next place the Styrofoam balls on top of each pole or stake. (Please note it is easier to place the poles in place before you attach the heads.)
After the heads are all secure on top of the poles drape one of the large white clothes over each ghost, use the twine or rope to tie the cloth around the base or neck of the heads. Take the black felt and cut out round or oblong eyes to glue on the heads of the ghosts. It is up to you whether you want to add mouths or noses. I have seen both with only eyes and with mouths they both look good. Next take the corner of one of the clothes from one ghost and tie it to a corner of the ghost next to it, continue until they are all holding hands and circle the corn stalk. That's it you’re done. This yard decoration looks great just like this, but on Halloween night you can spook it up a little for the trick-or-treaters.
You can buy a CD or tape of spooky sounds and ghost chants at a local costume store of department store and play it out by the gathering Halloween night. Dry ice is also another great special effect that adds to the fun Halloween night. Get a block of dry ice from your local ice company and place it in a bucket in the center of the corn stalks, it will give the appearance of smoke rising from the stalk as the ghosts chant. At a small cemetery nearby you can place other ghosts and goblins lurking around.
My neighbor did a gathering of witches instead of ghosts and placed a large caldron in the center of the circle of witches. On Halloween night she place the dry ice in the large black pot and it appeared as though the witches were brewing up an evil spell. She played witches chants and screeches. All enjoyed it. Shadow Creatures Mysterious Beings of the Paranormal World
On a regular basis, my husband and I see these things we call Shadaes, or as other people we have met that have told us about seeing these things as well, call them, Shadow creatures. Frankly, I have no clue as to what these things actually are and what their purpose is. Over the years of observing these creepy things I have noticed they do not like bright light and usually show up around the hours of 11pm till around 3am. We have seen these shadow creatures during the day, but only in areas where it's heavily shaded or on days that it's very overcast. They seem to really show up on nights when even though it might be a full moon, the night seem very dark in spite of street lighting and a full moon, and has a rather sinister feel to it.
The shadow creatures seem to be attracted to negative energy, they also seem to herald some trouble brewing. It's almost as if these shadow creatures feed of the negative energy or take some sort of delight in misery and sorrow.
These things range in size from about 3 feet tall to around 6 to 8 feet tall. The shape is hominid like and sometimes they have reddish glowing eyes. Most people only see these things out of the corner of their eye, but a few of us can see them straight on. My husband and I do, and a couple of friends of ours see them straight on as well. And, apparently, if they realize you can see them they let it be known that they can see you too. They will generally sort of swell up like a cat puffing up to try and scare you if they notice that you can see them, but otherwise they can not seem to really do any harm.
Most people who see these shadow creatures see them inside their homes, as well as outside. Personally, i prefer the little buggers to stay out of my house. So I lay down protections around the domicile. These protections can be in the form of protection spells, or verses from Psalms, written down and hung up on your door, or laying down some blessed salt across the door ways and window sills works well too. Personally, my hubby and I use a bit of both.

The "Can You See Ghosts" Test

Do you have a unique awareness that is completely unrelated to your five senses? Do you sometimes know things, yet you cannot explain how you know them? It is said that some individuals are so exceptionally sensitive to their environment, they can perceive what most cannot-- disembodied spirits. Perhaps, you are one of these “exceptional” people. Oops, sorry, I forgot, his heart had already stopped. Are you a ghost magnet such as the mendacious, beleaguered semi-heroine of Ghost, Whoopi Goldberg?
Are spirits powerless to move on because of a thirst for revenge, a desire to protect the living, or, perhaps, because of a horribly brutal death? We have no definitive answers for these questions. Sane, responsible individuals have reported encountering these displaced spirits. Eleanor Mondale (daughter of the former vice-president) insists a ghost visited her one night at the vice-president’s house (Evans & Huyghe, 2000). Hunting Ghost
My favorite tv show is Ghost Hunters and I love the idea of looking for ghosts. I want to see actual proof of them. A lot of people say they have seen ghost but I want t see the proof. I can tell you that I have a million dollars stacked up here on my desk ,but until you see it with your eyes ,you are not going to believe it. Some photos that I see are not too believable and do not really show anything. My favorite episode of Ghost Hunters was the lighthouse in Florida one. That was very "real" feeling and it scared the heck out of me. I do want to see a ghost ,but I do not know what I would have done if I had been there. Probably ran like hell.

Do You Live Near A Haunted House?
I have sometimes often wondered if I live close to any haunted houses. So I did a search online for any haunted houses. I did find a few here in Indiana. I will have to go and check them out. Get spooked! Have a bit of fun.
